Lynsey Rogers is a Queer and Disabled writer, arts worker and freelancer (literature and theatre) currently based in Edinburgh. Lynsey has over 10 years’ experience in writer development. She is passionate about supporting new voices, particularly LGBTQ+ and Disabled writers. Their work is featured in Queerphoria (Verve Books, June 2026).

Lynsey Rogers is a Queer and Disabled writer, arts worker and freelancer based in Edinburgh. Lynsey works as a dramaturg, script and submissions reader, authenticity reader, pastoral mentor and event chair.
Lynsey has over 10 years’ experience in writer development as the Writing Communities Manager at Scottish Book Trust. She is passionate about supporting new voices, particularly LGBTQ+ and Disabled writers.
She received the Next Level Award from Literature Alliance Scotland, and she is a Youth Work Volunteer with LGBT Youth Scotland. Their poem, ‘Selected Queer Joy as a Late Bloomer’ is featured in Queerphoria anthology (Verve Books, June 2026).
